Welcome to #1 Punk Records!!! We have many bands here that should interest you.

Currently we have releases from G-Whiz and The Complainers ready for purchase. Also Stickshift (a Central Florida band) will be releasing a few full lengths here. Still further out we should see some fresh recordings from a few younger bands from the US.

G-WHIZ

G-Whiz has been around for about 17 years (actually 19 years if you count the very beginning...but who's counting) and were one of the FIRST (yes I said FIRST) pop punk bands EVER!!! They will have a total of 3 full length releases on #1 Punk Records. The first will be ready by mid to end October 2006 and it is called "The Pop Punk Singles Collection 1989-2006". This was originally released overseas on Boss Tuneage but never in the USA. The next release that they will release is also a re-release called "...Hook" - we may change the name for our release but all of the material was originally released on Medical Records in 1994. Finally, we will have a NEW record - yes a brand new record from G-Whiz (which you can hear a preview teaser song on "The Pop Punk Singles Collection 1989-2006" called "Astro". The new material is fantastic and we are excited to have it out soon!!!

The Complainers

The Complainers are a newer band that started on offtime from G-Whiz. These are a collection of songs that were written by the singer of G-Whiz (Ed Richards). They all have a different feel and groove. The one fundamental theme is that they are thought provoking and enjoyable to listen to. I hope that you enjoy both the lyrics and music that they have produced for you over the past 3 years. Thanks to Walter, Ryan and Jared for their help and of coarse 2ndFloorStudios. They will also have a new release coming soon although a date has not yet been selected.
